St Jude’s exists to serve the communities of North Glasgow with faith, compassion and practical support. From supporting families experiencing baby loss, bereavement, and those in recovery to offering prayer, Sacraments of Baptism, Marriage, pastoral counselling and Sacrament of the sick as well as community outreach.
Rooted in love, inclusion and service, we welcome everyone regardless of faith or background as we work together to improve lives and support those who need it most.
Saint Jude’s – Registered Charity: SC054390

At St Jude’s, we believe that faith should be a source of hope, comfort and belonging. We are a Christian community rooted in love, compassion and service, seeking to reflect Christ’s care in all that we do.
We operate under the UK Archbishop of the Liberal Catholic Movement (Utrecht Movement).
We offer religious services and pastoral support to all, with a particular heart for those living with addiction or in recovery and their loved ones, and for individuals and families walking through bereavement, baby loss or difficult seasons of life. We believe no one should have to face life’s challenges alone.
Through prayer, guidance and sacred rites of passage including baptisms, birth blessings and funeral services we mark the important milestones of life with dignity, reverence and care.
Whoever you are, and wherever you find yourself on your journey, you are welcome among us.

As believers, we are called to serve others and make a positive impact in the world. At St Jude’s, this calling is lived out through compassion, practical support and a willingness to walk alongside those who are struggling.
We seek to be present in our communities, offering care to families experiencing bereavement and baby loss, supporting those in recovery, and reaching out to anyone who feels isolated or in need of encouragement. Outreach for us is not only about programmes or events, but about building relationships rooted in kindness, dignity and respect.
In serving others, we reflect the love of Christ and strive to bring hope where it is most needed.

Rev. Fr. Brian M Casey MA (Hons), BD (Min), FRSA
Brian was a Parish Minister in the Church of Scotland for a number of years before moving to set up Saint Jude's as a Priest in the Liberal Catholic Rite.
Before ministry, Brian was a Police Officer serving in Surrey and then the Strathclyde area. After a serious assault on duty, he retired on health grounds.
Sensing a new challenge, He went to the University of Glasgow where he obtained an MA (Honours) in French with educational psychology and then worked as a stock broker and financial adviser for a short time before hearing God's call on his heart and his life..
When he accepted his call to ministry, Brian went back to university and obtained a BD with distinction from Trinity College, Glasgow and then further study in grief counselling and chaplaincy. He served as Parish Minister at Springburn Parish Church for 12 years before deciding God was calling him to a new form of ministry.
Brian also serves as UK National Chaplain of the 'Thin Blue Line' Police Charity who seek to support a range of support for out UK Police family. This is a cause close to his heart. Brian is a trained and experienced Civic Mediator & Restorative Justice Practitioner.
He has considerable experience and expertise in community justice, working with offending teens and those with addiction and is a Recovery Advocate. He is also a union Branch Representative for Unite the Union (Faith Workers Branch).
Somebody once commented: "Brian's work extends far out-with the Church building, he's part of the fabric of the community, he's in the hearts and minds of many, he supports and comforts many and he's a beacon of compassion, care and hope. He's literally helped us to put food on other people's tables". (No one seems to care 2025)
Brian's ministry is focussed on people rather than buildings and he incardinated into the Old Catholic Apostolic Church (OCAC) at Easter 2025 to continue his ministry.
Fr. Brian is a wedding celebrant, and also conducts many funerals, Christenings or other life event services as requested where you would like.
